The subject of the Music Sector is the musical education of the students and in particular the organisation of courses and seminars on subjects such as musicology, history of music, musical instruments, artistic modern, folk and byzantine music, as well as the establishment and operation of a student choir and an orchestra.
The Music Sector of the University Club, which has been in operation since the beginning of the past century, always aspired to meet the particular musical interests of students from all University Departments.
There are also music groups with more specific musical interests, such as Byzantine Music, Folk, Popular, as well as Artistic Popular Music, particularly where the latter meets with great moments of Modern Greek poetry.
The Music Sector is located on the 4th floor of the University Club (Tel. +30 210-36.88.235).
